KAS-SAP has started its new solar imaging collection of 2017.

 

What a fantastic (well actually SUNTASTIC) weekend of 24/25 September 2016. Sun was in its full glory, so as the team of Karachi Astronomers Society’s Solar Astronomy Project.

 

24th September 2016

A long day, multiple sessions, 1000+ students and their teachers, 50+ schools from all over Sindh province. At the Solar Observation and Orientation Sessions @ TDF Magnifi-Science.

 

25th September 2016

Flying air force jets overhead, hundreds of people at the first Aviation EXPO exhibition at PAF Museum, Karachi. Many of them observed the Sun through solar viewing glasses and H-alpha telescope. It was  the Solar Observation at Aviation EXPO 2016 (PAF Museum).
